These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Exploration Navigation (the "Service"), operated by Crystal Roden ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, or by purchasing a scavenger hunt, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Exploration Navigation sells access to self-guided scavenger hunts delivered as digital content (clues, maps, and historical notes) accessible through this website. Some hunts are designated 21+ and tour licensed bars and clubs; you are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws including age, alcohol, and local ordinances.

2. Acceptance & eligibility

By using the Service you confirm that you are of legal age to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction, and that the information you provide is accurate. For 21+ hunts you confirm you and any participants in your party are of legal drinking age in the jurisdiction where the hunt takes place.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly publish hunt content;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems;
• introduce malware, scrape the Service at scale, or interfere with its operation;
• infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

4. Intellectual property

All hunt content (text, clues, photographs, maps, and design) is owned by Crystal Roden or its licensors and is protected by copyright. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the hunt you purchase for personal, non-commercial use only.

5. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, billing, taxes, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

6. Service availability & warranties

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Hunt locations are real-world places that may close, change, or become inaccessible without notice; we are not responsible for changes outside our control.

7. Safety & assumption of risk

You participate in any hunt voluntarily and at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety and that of your party, including but not limited to traffic, terrain, weather, alcohol consumption, and personal decisions about transportation. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical, legal, or professional advice.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud, or repeated abuse. On termination, your license to use purchased hunts ends.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crystal Roden shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
